Frizzell Construction offers a full range of services from inception/design through construction. We build Commercial, Industrial and Institutional buildings as well as Sewer and Water Civil projects. We offer design/build services through our partnership with select Architects. We are licensed in ten (10) eastern states and travel outside this area for specific projects.
Ben Frizzell Jr.
Founder and CEO

After graduating from Duke University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and serving in the US Airforce, Ben founded Frizzell Construction in 1960. Since it's inception, Ben has added several autonomous divisions which include Summit BSR Inc. (commercial roofing), Summit Supply Inc. (manufacture of millwork and structural building components), Links Crafters (golf course construction) and a Sewer and Water division. In addition Ben is an owner and developer of restaurants, hotels, shopping centers and entertainment venues.

Sherie Horton
Vice President
Sherie graduated from King College with a degree in Business Administration and has over forty years of experience with Frizzell Construction. As Vice President of the company, Sherie manages all office functions and oversees ongoing projects from a corporate perspective.
Ben Frizzell III
President

Ben graduated from Washington University with a degree in Civil Engineering and has over thirty-five years of construction experience. He has worked in site design, architectural planning, project management, estimating and purchasing. As President, Ben continues to work closely with clients from design through construction. In addition, he is a developer of hotels, restaurants, shopping centers, and mixed use projects.

Doug Cooper
Executive VP
After graduating from New York State University of Arts & Sciences, Doug joined the U.S. Marine Corps where he continued his education and became a U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant. Doug has over 50 years of construction experience involving all phases of the construction process. Doug has extensive experience in estimating and purchasing.

Mark Jackson
VP Construction
After serving for 6 years in the US Navy, Mark pursued a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Trinity University and a Masters in Business Administration from Keller Graduate School. His experience includes industrial, commercial, and municipal construction. Mark has worked on projects ranging from $2 million - $25 million and works directly with owners, architects, and banks to ensure the continuity of contractual relationships throughout each project.

Justin Horton
Project Management
Justin graduated from East Tennessee State University with a degree in Construction Engineering Technology. He has over 12 years of project management experience with commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
